North Country Union Junior High School
(NCUJHS)
Agreement for the Use of School Computers and of the Internet
Acceptable Use Policy
Please read this document carefully.
The Internet offers vast, diverse, and unique resources to both students and teachers. North Country’s goal in providing this service to teachers and students is to promote educational excellence in our school by facilitating resource sharing, innovation, and communication, thus enabling our students to become lifelong learners.
With access to computers and people all over the world also comes the availability of material that may not be considered to be of educational value in the context of the school setting. North Country has taken precautions to restrict access to controversial materials; however, each student has the ultimate responsibility of respectful use of the school’s equipment and for ethical use of the Internet.
If a North Country student violates this trust, his/her account will be terminated and future access could possibly be denied. There is no exception of privacy on school computers. Your child’s account will be monitored.
